'Molly Mae shouldn't use an app to avoid pregnancy – there's a 25% failure rate'

Molly-Mae Hague has revealed that she is using a period tracking and ovulation app after coming off The Pill because 'it's not for her'.

The 22 year old PrettyLittleThing creative director and former Love Island star, who recently sent tongues wagging as fans noticed a huge clue she could be starting a family soon, described how she uses the Flo app which allows users to track their cycle and predict ovulation.

However Dr Nitu Bajekal, who has been a consultant obstetrician-gynaecologist for more than 37 years, explained to OK! that while she is a huge advocate of people tracking their period, the risk of using it as contraception 'is a high cost for someone who doesn't want to be pregnant'.

Asked by a follower in a Q&A, Molly-Mae, who has been in a relationship with boxer Tommy Fury, 22, since meeting in the Love Island villa in 2019, wrote: "I just use the Flo app to track my fertile point of the month but I don’t recommend this if you want something much safer/more accurate."
