Police appeal after thousands of pounds worth of booze stolen from lorry at Hamilton Services

Police are appealing for information after alcohol worth over £21,000 was stolen from a lorry parked at Hamilton Services.Seven pallets of spirits and whisky were stolen sometime between 7.30pm on Tuesday, November 22, and 3.30am on Wednesday, November 23, at the M74 northbound services.Detective Sergeant Victoria Murray of Cambuslang CID said: “We are keen to speak to anyone who was at the service station and saw anything suspicious to contact us.The Lanarkshire Live app is available to download now.
