Proud Connections is an online support service created to signpost young people aged 13 and above to further services, such as youth groups and mentoring projects.
It will also feature a designated online chat portal where young people can speak with a trained youth worker. The scheme, which is being run by LGBT+ charity The Proud Trust, is being piloted across Greater Manchester for two months with hopes that it will then be rolled out nationally in July.
