Phillip Schofield
Phillip Bryan Schofield (born 1 April 1962) is an English television presenter who works for ITV. He is currently the co-presenter of This Morning (2002–present) and Dancing on Ice (2006–2014, 2018–present) alongside Holly Willoughby. His other work for ITV includes All Star Mr & Mrs (2008–2016), The Cube (2009–2015), and 5 Gold Rings (2017–present). Schofield gained national attention working for the BBC, first as a continuity presenter for Children's BBC on weekdays from 1985 to 1987, then as a presenter on the children's Saturday morning magazine show Going Live! between September 1987 and April 1993.

Phillip Schofield in hospital facing surgery for 'debilitating' eye condition

This Morning presenter Phillip Schofield has shared a snap of himself wearing a hospital gown with a patch over his eye as he smiled alongside doctors and nurses.

The 60-year-old has undergone surgery for his eye condition, which he has previously described as "debilitating". He's previously opened up about suffering with 'floaters' in both eyes, and on Thursday told his 3M following on Instagram that he was 'floater free' as he thanked the surgical team involved.

In his post, he said: "Now my right eye is done! "Thank you Prof Stanga & his amazing time. If the success of my summer is to be 'floater' free, that's good enough for me," followed by two smiling face emojis.Earlier in July, Phillip opened up about the "pioneering" treatment he was receiving to help rid him of the floaters, as writes the Mirror.Phillip had his initial operation in July and explained the process to his followers before later having the same procedure on the right eye.He wrote in the caption: "Firstly, no part of my treatment and surgery was gifted and I wasn’t asked to post.

It is also pioneering and costly."It was carried out by Prof Stanga at The Retina Clinic in London. I had Elective limited pars plana vitrectomy surgery.
