Married At First Sight UK's Lara Eyre has opened up about her experience on the latest E4 dating series.The 49 year old waitress, who married Richie Dews during her stint on the show, has slammed the guitarist as “fake and dishonest".

Despite the pair’s instant connection as they said their wedding vows, they eventually parted ways having found themselves to be less compatible two weeks into the marriage.

In an exclusive interview with the The Sun, Lara said Richie would play up to the cameras and admitted how she felt upset when he threw her “under the bus” while on the show.The Canada-native previously said Richie was “more of a project” than she anticipated.

She told the publication that behind the scenes the former rock n roll bachelor seemed more concerned about getting famous rather than a romance. “The TV edits made it look like I never told Richie about my concerns and I should have spoken out before, but I did it many times. “It looked like he had all the love and I couldn’t be bothered to teach him how to be in a relationship but that wasn't true. “It felt like I was dating a TV presenter because Richie was always acting whenever they were filming and concerned with how people would perceive him.” She continued: “When the cameras were off, Richie kept to himself and wasn’t as enthusiastic or caring, he didn’t ask much about me except for when they were filming. “I wish there were cameras everywhere filming all the time because Richie was very good at making sure his mask didn’t slip.
