Perthshire councillor suggests 20mph zones are the answer after bike trip

Carse of Gowrie. It comes after Carse of Gowrie representative Angus Forbes got on his bike earlier this week to try and understand why he was getting so many complaints about irresponsible driving and speeding on the ‘high Carse Road’.

The high Carse Road runs between Ballindean and Glendoick, incorporating the hamlets of Kilspindie, Craigdally among other housing settlements. Tayside Police on the trail of ‘dirty campers' in rural Perthshire this weekend A narrow but straight and flat road regularly used by cyclists and walkers, it was turned in to a walking and cycle-friendly road by Perth and Kinross Council to encourage active travel.
