Paris Hilton is opening up about the abuse she faced in relationships, revealing she had five ex boyfriends who allegedly abused her. “I went through multiple abusive relationships,” Paris told People ahead of the release of This Is Paris, premiering on her YouTube channel on September 14. “I was strangled, I was hit, I was grabbed aggressively.

I put up with things no one should.” Paris says the abuse would never have happened had she not faced physical and emotional abuse as a teenager while attending Provo Canyon boarding school in Utah in the 1990s. “I had become so used to [abusive behavior] at Provo, that it made me feel like it was normal,” she said.
