Outlander’s Malva Christie thanks fans for despising character following shock exit

During episode six, Claire was in her garden when she discovered young Malva's body with a gash across her neck and when she realised she was dead, she cut her stomach open in an attempt to keep her unborn baby alive.
However, she appeared to be unsuccessful and viewers were left with their jaws on the floor, of course, with so many unanswered questions.Who is the father?
