The Oscars are planning to add ceremony 'hubs' outside the US after banning attendance through Zoom. The 93rd Academy Awards take place on April 25 primarily from Union Station in Los Angeles, California.

This is a change from the ceremony's traditional location at Hollywood's Dolby Theatre, which is set to feature still in some live segments.

However, after the ceremony banned stars making appearances over Zoom, there was concern that any nominees outside of the US would be unable to appear nor even visibly accept their award wins.

Now it has been revealed that international nominees will appear from satellite linked locations or 'hubs' in the cities of London and Paris to reduce travel for nominees.
