Nashom Wooden, known as drag performer Mona Foot, has died at the age of 50 due to complications from coronavirus.
The 50-year-old entertainer passed away on Monday (March 23), his friend and former Project Runway winner Geoffrey Mac said on Instagram. “I lost my best friend today from the coronavirus, Nashom Wooden,” Geoffrey said through tears. “And I just want to make sure that everybody out there stays healthy, and takes care of each other because the virus is really real.
And I’m just so sorry.” Page Six reports that another one of Nashom‘s friends said he was sent home from the hospital because he didn’t have symptoms that were serious enough. Nashom said in 2017 that he retired Mona Foot, but he made a return for the drag festival
