Noel Gallagher has opened up about the reasons for his divorce after announcing his split from Sara MacDonald. The Oasis star, 56, and Sara, 51, were married for 12 years before confirming in January that they have parted ways.

Noel has now revealed that their relationship started to collapse during the Covid-19 lockdown as they simply ‘grew tired of each other’.

The High Flying Birds star – who has sons Donovan, 15, and Sonny, 12 with Sara – also claimed his ex became ‘furious’ about his constant partying.

In a new interview, he said: ‘It’s not uncommon for people to get to their fifties and go, well, you know…’ He went on to suggest to Ireland’s Hot Press magazine that his relentless touring schedule drove a wedge between him and his wife.

It has tapped Rachel Eggebeen as its chief content officer and Colin King Miller as its chief operating officer. The veteran executives will take founding partnership roles alongside Amplify Pictures CEO Joe Lewis. “It’s a time of expansion,” Lewis told Variety in an interview. “We’re growing our team and becoming more global.” At the same time, Amplify has sold a minority stake to Great Mountain Partners. The sale values Amplify at $50 million. The funding will be used to back more production of original series of both the unscripted and scripted variety.
