No vehicle access to Girvan railway station next week due to overnight roadworks

Essential maintenance on the A77 in Girvan at Vicarton Street between ASDA and Bridgemill roundabout, and on the roundabout itself, will take place from Monday, October 3 until Wednesday, October 12 between 8pm and 6am.There will be some disruption to parking and vehicular access to the football club or the train station on certain days as the work will be carried out via overnight total road closures and working under temporary traffic signals.On Monday the 3rd, Tuesday the 4th and Wednesday the 5th, there will be a full road closure between ASDA and Bridgemill roundabout between 8pm and 6am each night.
Traffic will be diverted via Coalpots Road and the B734.There will be no vehicular access to the football club or the train station.Access to ASDA will be maintained from Girvan town centre.
This section of works will be complete at 6am on Thursday, October 6.From 9am on Monday, October 3 until 6am on Thursday, October 6, parking will be suspended at the bays between ASDA and Bridgemill roundabout.Residents within the closure extents will have no vehicular access to their properties during the closure periods and are advised to make alternative parking arrangements if required.
Pedestrian access will be maintained.Full access will be maintained to Girvan community hospital during the works.
