Tim Burton is bringing The Addams Family to Netflix. The iconic director and streaming service unveiled plans for a live action series centered on Wednesday Addams, which was played by Christina Ricci in the 90s movie franchise.

Titled Wednesday, the new eight-episode comedy would focus on the daughter of Gomez and Morticia. “The series is a sleuthing, supernaturally infused mystery charting Wednesday Addams’ years as a student at Nevermore Academy,” the official plot description says. “Wednesday attempts to master her emerging psychic ability, thwart a monstrous killing spree that has terrorized the local town, and solve the supernatural mystery that embroiled her parents 25 years ago — all while navigating her new and very tangled
