Fans of The Late Late Show and country music will be nursing their achy breaky hearts today as RTÉ announced the postponement of the show’s country special.
The popular annual edition of the flagship Friday night entertainment show on RTÉ One usually happens in April or May, however, due to the pandemic, it has been postponed.
A spokesperson for RTÉ confirmed the news telling RSVP: ‘The Late Late Show Country Special has been postponed due to current circumstances.’ It is expected to be rescheduled for later in the year so fans needn’t totally despair but the announcement will come as an upset to many.
Previous country specials have seen Nathan Carter, Cliona Hagan, Philomena Begley, Mike Denver and many more stars perform. Ryan Tubridy
