Amanda Holden
Amanda Louise Holden (born 16 February 1971) is an English media personality, actress, television presenter, singer, and author. She has judged on the television talent show competition Britain's Got Talent since the show began its run in 2007 on ITV. As an actress, Holden played the role of Mel in Kiss Me Kate (1998–2000), Geraldine Titley in The Grimleys (1999-2001), Sarah Trevanion in Wild at Heart (2006–2008), Lizzie, the Ring Mistress, in Big Top (2009), and the title role in Thoroughly Modern Millie, for which she was nominated for a Laurence Olivier Award.

A mum whose daughter was given a rare diagnosis after attending a routine appointment has issued an important warning to other women.

Sarah Waters was due to have a routine smear test in 2020 but it was postponed due to the coronavirus pandemic. After re-booking her appointment for April this year - she was given a shock result.

The 30-year-old, from Prescot, Merseyside, had just go back from a holiday to Spain thinking 'everything was normal' until she received a number of 'urgent letters' saying she needed to be referred for further tests. Having recently undergone a full hysterectomy, Sarah is now waiting to hear if she needs chemotherapy treatment. Sarah is being cared for at home by her mum Susan who, watching her daughter go through "an incredibly tough time", has decided to take on an incredible challenge.
