Lanarkshire politicians are calling for Prime Minister Boris Johnson and Chancellor Rishi Sunak after the pair were fined for having parties in Downing Street during lockdown.

"It's untenable that the people in charge of making the laws are lawbreakers.“While people across Lanarkshire were making huge sacrifices, missing out on funerals and unable to care for their loved ones, Boris Johnson and Rishi Sunak were partying in Downing Street.“These chancers are not fit to lead the country."Scottish Tory MPs and MSPs must put the people before party interests, and finally show Boris the door if he doesn't have the decency to resign immediately."Also reacting to today's news was Lanark and Hamilton East MP Angela Crawley.
