New Motherwell signing Ciara Duff says the chance to link up with Women of Steel boss Paul Brownlie was an opportunity she had to take.The Scotland Under 19 goalkeeper joins on a contract until the end of the season.Duff was most recently at Boroughmuir Thistle and is viewed as a goalkeeper with plenty of potential.She worked with Motherwell's head coach in the Scotland youth set-up and she says that was a big attraction behind her move to the SWPL 1.The goalkeeper said: "There's a few different things.
The opportunity to play in SWPL 1 was exciting so when I heard that, it was a massive contributor."I've worked with Paul previously in the international set-up before too and I think he is a fantastic coach.
So I thought I could work hard and improve under him."Those were the two main things. Challenge is always good. I'll be playing against some of the best players in the country and professional clubs.
That's exciting."Motherwell are back in action after the winter break this afternoon against Partick Thistle in the Scottish Women's Cup, before facing the Jags in league competition next weekend.Duff added: "As a club, Motherwell is really growing.
