A total of 336 people have now been discharged from Salford Royal Hospital after contracting the coronavirus.As the death tolls continue to fall across the country bosses have revealed the number of people who have recovered from the virus.As of this week, 2,024 people had passed away in Greater Manchester's hospitals after testing positive for Covid-19, with 176 of those deaths registered in Salford.But, the rate of new infections in the city appears to be slowing and there have been a number of days in the last fortnight on which no coronavirus-related deaths were registered on the official figures.In a post on Facebook, a spokesman for Salford Royal thanked staff at the hospital who have continued to battle the disease throughout the.
