Our Girl's Georgie Lane recently made her emotional farwell from the BBC drama and fans were relieved when the sergeant, who was certainly put through the wringer in the fourth season, was granted a fairly happy ending.
Michelle, 32, who spent three years on the show, told Digital Spy that one moment in her last episode was key in establishing that Georgie will be okay and is now in a position to move forward with her life.
She explained: "So we know how Georgie exited the show now, she got the closure that she desperately needed, she finally took the ring off her dog tags.
