Mental health services being reviewed and people can have their say on the plans

Trafford’s adult mental health services are being reviewed by the council and residents can have their say too. The review of the services has been launched to make sure residents receive the right care at the right time.

Trafford council is speaking to current users of services, as well as previous users and care providers to get their views. Therefore, it is vital that what we provide is right for our residents. “Mental health can be a block to relationships, job opportunities and it can lead to poor physical health too.

We want to do all we can to make sure our residents get the support they need to improve and maintain their health.” The council has begun the process of speaking with people currently supported by mental health care services to establish what areas can improve.
