The stunning ring features a large centre-cut diamond and two smaller ones which were taken from the late Princess Diana's iconic jewellery collection.
The 42-year-old duchess has repeatedly sparked split rumours between her and the duke after being photographed on several occasions this year without the ring on her finger, the Express reports.However, gemmologist and design expert Joanna Wyganowska claims that the mother-of-two's decision to not wear the precious jewel for her New York visit could simply be for practical reasons.
She suggested that the duchess probably sees the ring as "too valuable" to wear every day and instead chooses to only put it on for "special occasions".
