Meghan McCain compares watching ‘The View’ to looking at an ex’s Instagram: ‘It’s not great for you’
about exiting “The View.” The conservative pundit, 38, left the talk show in 2021 following frequent squabbles with co-hosts Whoopi Goldberg and Joy Behar.In a new interview with The Messenger, McCain revealed why she no longer tunes in to the ABC gabfest, saying: “You know, it’s kind of like looking at an ex-boyfriend’s Instagram — it’s just not great for you.”The outspoken mom-of-two added that she’s also busy with her new podcast, “Meghan McCain Has Entered the Chat.”“I don’t have time to watch this kind of content” she declared. “[But] I do listen to a lot of podcasts.”However, McCain admits that she “still misses the wardrobe people” after working with them during her four years on the chat show.The daughter of the late John McCain appeared on “The View” from 2017 until 2021.After quitting, she was replaced by Alyssa Farah Griffin and Ana Navarro.“I just love getting dressed up,” she gushed.
