A man found with thousands of pounds worth of class A drugs, including heroin, has avoided jail after taking steps to ‘reform’ his life.

Lewis Mahon, 29, was a former drug addict when police stormed his home back in February 2019. In his bedroom they found over £8,000 worth of drugs including heroin and crack cocaine, packaged up for onward selling, as well as £1,000 in criminal cash. Mahon, of Cheadle, earlier pleaded guilty to offences of possession with intent to supply class A drugs; possession of criminal property and possession of cannabis.
