Man City offer update on stadium expansion and improvement plans

straight to your inbox Manchester City will have to reassess their plans for the stadium once they work out how the global pandemic has reshaped football, according to their chairman.

City expanded the south stand of the Etihad with an additional 6,000 seats in time for the 2015/16 season and have outlined planning permission to do the same in the north stand; other revamps in recent years have included the redesign of the home dressing room and the launch of the Tunnel Club hospitality.

Khaldoon Al Mubarak, the club chairman, had previously spoken about an idea of a 'Blue Wall' similar to Dortmund's Yellow Wall as different plans for how to move forward with the stadium expansion were discussed.
