Taylor Alison Swift is an American singer-songwriter. She is known for narrative songs about her personal life, which have received widespread media coverage. At age 14, Swift became the youngest artist signed by the Sony/ATV Music publishing house and, at 15, she signed her first record deal.

Her 2006 eponymous debut album was the longest-charting album of the 2000s in the US. Its third single, "Our Song", made her the youngest person to single-handedly write and perform a number-one song on the Billboard Hot Country Songs chart. Swift's second album, Fearless, was released in 2008.

Buoyed by the pop crossover success of the singles "Love Story" and "You Belong with Me", it became the US' best-selling album of 2009 and was certified diamond in the US. The album won four Grammy Awards, and Swift became the youngest Album of the Year winner.

A man and woman have been charged with attempted murder after an alleged suspected gas leak in a Scots town. We told how two people were taken to hospital after emergency services raced to King Street in Stenhousemuir at around 2.25pm on Saturday, April 23.

A woman, 31, and man, 40, were taken to Forth Valley Royal Hospital for treatment, but they were not thought to have suffered life-threatening injuries.

Police investigating the alleged incident cordoned off an area of the street after launching a probe. Officers have now confirmed that a 40-year-old man and a 31-year-old woman have been arrested and charged in connection with attempted murder.The pair are expected to appear before Falkirk Sheriff Court on Monday.A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “A 40-year-old man and a 31-year-old woman have been arrested and charged in connection with attempted murder at King Street, Stenhousemuir on Saturday, April 23, 2022.“A report will be submitted to the Procurator Fiscal and they are expected to appear at Falkirk Sheriff Court on Monday, April 25, 2022.”On Saturday an SGN spokesperson confirmed they attended the property in Stenhousemuir "at the request of the police following reports of a gas leak."They added: "When our engineer arrived, the gas supply to the property had already been turned off at the meter."We carried out safety checks to ensure the property was gas safe and left shortly after."
