Major emergency response at Ayrshire factory as mercy crews race to scene

Emergency service crews are currently dealing with an incident in Hurlford this afternoon. Police, ambulance and fire engine units are all in position at a factory site in the village on Mauchline Road.

Responders appear to be dealing with an incident outside the premises, with a huge number of mercy crews in place.Among police and fire crews, there is an Incident Response Unit ambulance in position.An eye witness at the scene said: “There are quite a few there, it seems something quite serious is going on.“I’m not sure what it is exactly, but I hope everyone is okay.”Police Scotland and Scottish Fire and Rescue have been contacted for comment.
