M. Night Shyamalan's Daughter Ishana To Make Feature Film Directorial Debut

Ishana Night Shyamalan is following in her dad’s footsteps. The daughter of M. Night Shyamalan is set to make her own directorial debut with The Watchers, according to Deadline. Keep reading to find out more… The project is an adaptation of A.M.

Shine‘s novel, and according to the outlet is “being fast-tracked for a June 7, 2024 global theatrical release”. The Watchers centers on Mina, a 28-year old artist who gets stranded in an expansive, untouched forest in western Ireland.

When Mina finds shelter, she unknowingly becomes trapped alongside three strangers that are watched and stalked by mysterious creatures each night. M.

Night will produce the pic with Ashwin Rajan through Blinding Edge Pictures. Ishana isn’t a stranger to behind the camera work – she recently served as writer and director on Servant, and also directed second unit on Old and Knock at the Cabin, all of which her father was the creator and/or director of.
