This is the lowest number reported by the government since March 12 - however, reporting is often lower on weekends.The figures do not include all deaths involving Covid-19 across the UK, such as deaths where a test had not confirmed the virus.The true death toll is thought to have passed 55,500.The Department of Health also reported a further 530 new cases of coronavirus have been confirmed in the UK.That brings the total number of cases to 290,133 from 289,603 at the same point yesterday.NHS England said a further 11 people who tested positive for coronavirus have died in hospital in England, bringing the total number of confirmed deaths in.
