Love Island fans were in hysterics after Catherine Agbaje made a blunder while cleaning her teeth in the bedroom. After the drama of last night's shock double dumping which saw Mehdi Edno and Mal Nicol packing their bags and exiting the sprawling Spanish villa, the girls were chatting to Whitney Adebayo about her feelings after she was forced to say goodbye to her partner, Mehdi.

Later, as Catherine was cleaning her teeth, she reflected on the latest dumping and went on to praise Mal's effect on the villa, describing her as "happiness" before going on to say she was the "epitome of happiness", only she mispronounced it as 'ep-ee-tome'.

As with all things Love Island, the moment was heavily dissected on Twitter. One simply shared a gif of Hollywood actor Ryan Gosling laughing and simply quipped: "epitoam", while another asked: "did catherine really just pronounce epitome like that?!?"
