Despite scouring the area with the help of site workers George Kenderdine and Ryan Law, it could not be found and was feared lost forever.

But just hours later, eagle-eyed Ryan spotted the shiny ring lying next to a skip as it was being moved. Stuart had not left any contact details with staff at the site prompting a social media appeal to be launched by Midlothian Council.
