Lanarkshire woman threatened to gouge man's eye out over cash and drug theft dispute

A man was attacked in his Lanarkshire home by a woman who accused him of stealing money and drugs.Sarah Wright hit her victim with secateurs, held a long screw at his throat and threatened to gouge out his eye.The terrified man was forced to borrow money and buy drugs before he was able to escape from Wright and an accomplice.Wright, 33, of Crawford Hill, East Kilbride, appeared at Hamilton Sheriff Court this week.The Lanarkshire Live app is available to download now.
