Lanarkshire theme park to host bee-rilliant September weekend event

Amazonia, Scotland’s Indoor Tropical Rainforest, will be creating a bit of a buzz over the September weekend to celebrate the amazing world of bees.A free event, held outside the main rainforest area of Amazonia within M&D’s Theme Park, within Strathclyde Park, Motherwell, there will be a range of activities over the weekend including balloon modelling, badge making, a bee trail, hive demonstrations and honey tasting!

The usual entry fees apply to going inside the main rainforest area of Amazonia.Visitors will be able learn all about honeybees over the weekend of September 23 to 26 and might catch a glimpse of them working away in and out of their hive weather permitting.The Lanarkshire Live app is available to download now.
