Marcus Rashford (born 31 October 1997) is an English professional footballer who plays as a forward for Premier League club Manchester United and the England national team.
A Manchester United player from the age of seven, he scored two goals on both his first-team debut against Midtjylland in the UEFA Europa League in February 2016 and his Premier League debut against Arsenal three days later.
He also scored in his first Manchester derby match, his first EFL Cup match and his first UEFA Champions League match. With United, Rashford has so far won the FA Cup, EFL Cup, FA Community Shield and UEFA Europa League.
Manchester United are 'closely monitoring' Hirving Lozano's situation at Napoli, according to reports. Though United managed to salvage their transfer window and recruit five key outfield players, there still remain obvious weaknesses in the squad.
The forward line is the most obvious, with options remaining limited, especially in the central striker position. Anthony Martial has missed the majority of the campaign so far with injury and the wantaway Cristiano Ronaldo is struggling to adapt to Erik ten Hag's style.
Only the bright early form of Marcus Rashford has offset United's lack of firepower so far, so a new forward may well be on United's shopping list in January as a result and the latest name to be linked is Lozano.
