Lanarkshire pupils remind drivers that '20's plenty' when driving near schools as safety message promoted

Drivers in South Lanarkshire are being reminded of the importance of driving at 20mph speed limits around schools. The mandatory limits are now in place at a number of schools across the district through the local authority's Spaces for People project in line with a grant provided by the Scottish Government.It has allowed the installation of new road warning signs, coloured carriageway surfacing and markings to remind motorists of the need to observe the speed limit.The Lanarkshire Live app is available to download now.
