Lanarkshire councillor calls for local support to help playpark provision

A Lanarkshire councillor is hoping new funding can help improve under resourced play areas in Rutherglen and Cambuslang. Earlier this year Lanarkshire Live told how just 17 of South Lanarkshire's 233 play parks are in Rutherglen and Cambuslang - far worse than any other region.

Now a new survey has been launched by South Lanarkshire Council (SLC), asking for feedback on how to spend funding for playpark provision that they have been allocated by the Scottish government.The Lanarkshire Live app is available to download now.
