Kym Marsh sends fresh message after breaking down in tears on Morning Live over emotional family update

Kym Marsh has shared a message with her fans and followers after she was seen breaking down in tears on Morning Live. The presenter and actress was back fronting the BBC One show when she was joined my her mum and dad, Pauline and David as she hosted the show with Gethin Jones.

Her parents joined her on the programme as on Thursday (November 30), the programme included a pre-recorded clip of the trio visiting The Cavern Club in Liverpool to hear Kym's daughter Emily Cuncliffe sing on stage.

It comes after Kym revealed on Morning Live earlier this month that the family had been given 'bad news'. After a period of absence from hosting duties due to other work commitments, the former Coronation Street star returned to the Morning Live studio, and after introducing the guests, Gethin commented on Kym's dad, Dave Marsh, who she revealed on the show in 2021 had been diagnosed with terminal prostate cancer.

Dave also appeared on the show himself to help raise awareness and encourage others to go and get checked when they have concerns. She continued: "They are doing further scans to see if it's gone into any more of his bones but unfortunately they can't offer him chemotherapy," before she concluded: "So they advised us to go and spend lots of time with him and make lots of memories.
