Kyle Chandler has booked his next role in Mayor of Kingstown, Taylor Sheridan’s upcoming series for Paramount+.

According to Deadline, the 55-year-old actor will join Jeremy Renner in the upcoming series and portray Jeremy‘s older brother on the show.

Mayor of Kingstown follows the McLusky family, power brokers in Kingstown, Michigan, where the business of incarceration is the only thriving industry.

Tackling themes of systemic racism, corruption and inequality, the series provides a stark look at their attempt to bring order and justice to a town that has neither. Kyle is Mitch, the older brother to Mike McLusky (Renner).

An amendment added to the Florida “Don’t Say Gay Bill” will require schools to out LGBT students to their parents.
