The 25-year-old Oscar nominee wore a custom Bottega Veneta look including thigh-high woven-leather boots. “We really wanted to swing for the fences with the after-party footwear,” Kodi told Vogue. “The craftsmanship is insane: They’re inspired by combat military boots and fisherman boots.
The look is totally business up top, and then a party down below.” In keeping with the MET Gala’s gilded glamour theme, attendees gathered inside the Gilded Age mansion with DJs @cocoandbreezy and Anderson Paak, who took the stage before the evening’s special guest performer.
Past midnight, SZA performed for Instagram’s creators and community beneath the grand hall’s chandeliers. Also in attendance was Sabrina Carpenter and Awkwafina.
