Kate Middleton was the epitome of regal and during a recent trip to Northern Ireland, where she proved just how calm and collected she could be.
The Princess of Wales, 40, along with the Prince of Wales visited Belfast earlier in the week and during their trip she was subjected to a rather awkward exchange.
While shaking hands with the Princess, a woman said: “Nice to meet you but it would be better if it was when you were in your own country.” The woman, who appeared to be videoing the exchange on a mobile phone, added: “Ireland belongs to the Irish.” Determined not to let it rattle her, a surprised Kate laughed and let go of the woman's hand before continuing to smile and greet other members of the crowd.
Following the exchange body language experts analysed Kate’s reaction and her ability to take the exchange “in her stride”. Speaking to MailOnline body language expert Judi James said: “This heckling ritual would have felt even more uncomfortable for Kate than just listening to the woman’s words. “Kate is greeting a friendly crowd and the woman holds her hand out for a shake.
