Sutherley is on trial at Paisley Sheriff Court over the alleged attack, which prosecutors claim took place at her home in John Street, Barrhead, on October 2, 2020.
Mr Drummond gave evidence in the case, saying he was attacked by Sutherley after arriving at her home and had been left physically and emotionally scarred.
But the jury was told Sutherley told police officers investigating the alleged attack that he had arrived at her home already injured.On Wednesday, prosecutor Frankie Morgan gave his closing speech to the jury, asking them to convict Sutherley of the single charge.
