Perth Rotary Club gave a helping hand to transform an overgrown playground into a ‘Mini Beast’ nature trail. Back in January 2020, funding from the Living Communities Participation Fund, supported by the Gannochy Trust, awarded £1200 to Fairview School pupils.The children wanted to use this funding to redevelop a rather overgrown inaccessible area of their playground.The week before lockdown, 300 free trees arrived from The Woodland Trust for the project.Community link worker Lindsey Harris was determined to find a way to keep the project going.“The trees spent the summer in my back garden,” Lindsey said.“However, once the autumn weather hit pupils were able to replant our trees back in the school garden. “Graham Thom from Perth Rotary Club
