The national team returned to Nations League action on Friday night, but were held to a 1-1 draw at Hampden. Scotland switched a 3-5-1-1 formation for the game, and the Aston Villa man admits they struggled with it at times.
McGinn told Sky Sports: "It was different, it was one we'd been working on all week."You obviously don't get much chance at international level to work on it."It's sort of alien to a few of us but I think it worked well, there are things to improve on and get better at but we've got the players in there capable of doing it."Whether the manager sticks with that on Monday or in the future.
