Jim Belushi got candid about his time on "Saturday Night Live" including his firing and eventual return to the show. The "Joe Somebody" actor was a cast member on the long-running sketch show between 1983 and 1985.

In that time, he was famously let go from the show after becoming difficult to work with before eventually being hired back for a short time prior to Lorne Michaels' cleaning house on the cast in the mid-1980s.

Speaking to Vulture, the 67-year-old revealed some details behind that time in his life, describing some of the alarming behavior that led to his firing from the NBC show, including hurling a fire extinguisher at an executive producer.
