thesun.co.ukAFTER her pop career fizzled out in 2013, Jess Wright is having another try at hitting a high note. The reality star – sister of telly hunk Mark – has signed up to new ITV2 show Celebrity Karaoke Club in a bid to get attention from label bosses.
An insider said: “Jess is a really talented singer but her music career has taken a back seat in recent years. “She took up the offer of joining this new singing show as it’s a great opportunity to show off her vocal range. “People often forget Jess is a singer and she thinks this could be the perfect change to get known again for her voice.” Before joining Towie, Jess twice tried her luck on The X Factor as part of a girl group and even auditioned for The Saturdays.
