The Salford star took to Twitter to share the message after Man City missed out on a place in the Champions' League final after losing 3 - 1 to the Spanish side.
Had the Manchester side won against Real Madrid they would have faced off against rivals Liverpool in the final on May 28. The loss has been described as the side's "most crushing defeat" of Pep Guardiola's tenure as manager.
