Jake Gyllenhaal stepped out at D23 Expo this weekend to promote his new animated film Strange World!

The 41-year-old actor was joined by co-stars Dennis Quaid, Jaboukie Young-White, and Lucy Liu at the event on Friday (September 9) at the Anaheim Convention Center in Anaheim, Calif. Jake is appearing in a Disney animated film for the first time and he calls it a “dream come true.” The movie is about an incredible family who must get past their differences to save a strange world full of danger and surprises. “Being here is so cool and to share this trailer for the first time,” he said (via Deadline). “I’ve always wanted to be in a Disney animated movie so it’s kind of a dream come true.” Dennis added, “I love being part of the Disney family.
