UPDATED, 11:45 AM: The man arrested and charged in the shooting death of Jacqueline Avant, the philanthropist and wife of celebrated music executive Clarence Avant, changed his plea to guilty today.Aariel Maynor of Los Angeles, 30, pleaded guilty today to murder and other counts that could see him face up to 170 years to life when he is sentenced March 30.
Maynor previously pleaded not guilty on December 17 of last year in Avant’s death, which occurred during a robbery at the couple’s Trousdale Estates home in Beverly Hills Dec.
