Jack Ryder has said finding fame on EastEnders as a teenager was "tough to cope with" and that no one can "prepare you for it".The actor, 39, soared to stardom as Jamie Mitchell on the BBC One soap in 1998 when was aged just 17 and he left Albert Square in 2002 aged 21 after his character was dramatically killed off.
Appearing on Wednesday's episode of Lorraine to discuss the release of his second children's book, Jack's Secret World, which hits shelves on Thursday, Jack reflected on finding fame at such an early age.
