Susanna Victoria Reid (born 10 December 1970) is an English television presenter and journalist. Reid was a co-presenter of BBC Breakfast from 2003 until 2014, along with Bill Turnbull and Charlie Stayt.
She has been a co-anchor of Good Morning Britain since 2014, and currently presents the programme alongside Piers Morgan and Ben Shephard.
She finished as a runner-up on the eleventh series of Strictly Come Dancing in 2013. She also presented Sunday Morning Live on BBC and Save Money: Good Food on ITV.
Good Morning Britain viewers were treated to a new presenting duo as a fresh week began. Those tuning into the ITV news programme on Monday (April 4) were greeted by Richard Madeley and Kate Garraway.
It came as a surprise to some viewers who were left questioning where usual host Susanna Reid was. The 51-year-old is usually seen on the show from Monday through to Thursday with the likes of Richard Madeley, Ben Shephard, Adil Ray and more recently Martin Lewis.
However, it is not unusual for Susanna to disappear from screens at this time of year as many ITV stars take the Easter holidays off.
Holly Willoughby and Phillip Schofield will be missing from This Morning for the next two weeks while Lorraine Kelly is being replaced by Ranvir Singh on her self-titled ITV show.
