A couple who say they have had to face extra hurdles in order to have children because they are in a same-sex relationship are pressing for a change in the way fertility treatment is offered on the NHS .
When Michelle and Jessica Mortimer-Collier got married in 2017, they always knew they wanted to have children together. In February last year, the couple, who live in Bury , decided to look into their options and enquired with their local GP about undergoing IVF treatment.
